SF6 has genuinely excellent, deep combat that's worth experiencing, but you should wait for a sale on the base game and go in with eyes open about the aggressive monetisation — DLC characters and cosmetics are expensive, and Capcom's post-launch support has frustrated many long-term players. If you're a fighting game fan who primarily wants a solid multiplayer experience, it's worth picking up at a discount; if you're a single-player-focused player or hate microtransactions, you may want to think twice.
